Breaker is an Australian software company, enabling intuitive control of Remote Autonomous Systems (RAS) through a natural language interface so operators can control many RAS with simple voice commands and no bulky hardware. Breaker’s AI platform, CRUX, enables advanced autonomous decision making, natural language control, advanced perception, and scalable autonomy, so one layman can manage 100+ uncrewed systems to reduce costs and personnel needs in defence, agriculture and resources.

A HUGE OPPORTUNITY

Breaker Industries has developed CRUX, an AI-enabled control system for RAS in Defence, Agriculture, Resources and Transport. CRUX can team 100+ RAS across platforms and domains (air, land, maritime) and communicate verbally over radio.

THE FOCUS OF THE GRANT APPLICATON

The Australian Government’s Industry Growth Program support will help demonstrate CRUX’s capability to TRL 9, secure IP and accelerate business development. This will result in several follow-on contracts and a successful raise to fund rapid market penetration to retain first mover advantage.

THE RESULT

Breaker Industries, with the help of Scale Impact have secured $1.2m in non-dilutive funding from the Industry Growth Program. This is a fantastic result and another step forward in pairing this global-leading AI to Australia’s RAS hardware, ensuring Australia’s industry and sovereign capability is internationally competitive and on the way to unlocking the $19 trillion forecast from RAS by the Federal Government.
