A HUGE OPPORTUNITY

Millibeam’s 5G Solution Platform, FARBEAM, enables a 5x cost reduction for advanced telecom networks through innovation in radio architectures, semiconductor chips and antennas. FARBEAM will enable telecom companies to achieve a 10x longer signal range thereby reducing the number of required base-stations.

THE FOCUS OF THE GRANT APPLICATON

The Australian Government’s Industry Growth Program support will help Millibeam commercialise FARBEAM and achieve a TRL8, field-tested and manufacturable prototype, with 4 new patents, a proven value proposition and customer preorders.

THE RESULT

With the help of Scale Impact, Millibeam has been successful in securing $2.6m from the Industry Growth Program. This significant contribution will help Millibeam in their mission of bringing next generation connectivity on a global scale through leaps in energy efficiency and radio coverage.
